The FDL Inverter is a uniquely designed pallet inverter that has been made primarily for use in the food and pharmaceutical businesses.
The FDL Inverter is sleekly designed and has very few moving parts, making it easy to both clean and maintain.
The first FDL was built in 1986 in response to calls from pharmaceutical customers requesting a system specifically designed to transfer product from wood to plastic pallets in hygiene-critical areas. It is usually sited well within the production site, often just outside a clean-room so it is important that it is accessible by pallet truck.
The FDL Inverter uses a different turning system to most other Premier models. The hydraulic drive provides an ultra-smooth rotation totally encased in the body of the machine. Any possible drips of grease or oil from the system are contained within the structure.
Like all Premier Pallet Inverters, the FDL is treated with a double coat of zinc primer followed by a durable 2-pack epoxy top coat finish.
The FDL Pallet Inverter has a similar choice of load table designs to the FS DC. There are ramp-loaded or floor flush options with two maximum jaw opening choices of 67" and 79". The turning body can be constructed in stainless steel if required so that there is no danger of contamination between the machine and the product.
Guarding attached to the body of the Inverter is supplied as standard, though many customers prefer a permanent location for the machine. In this case the guards are also floor-connected and invariably a photo-electric light curtain is installed at the front.
